FRECKLETON drama group Harlequins are busy rehearsing their next production, Happy Campers, a comedy by Richard James, due to be staged at Freckleton Memorial Hall at the end of May.
The show is only on for two nights and if past productions are anything to go by then it will be another sell out by this award winning group.
Chairman Chris Shelstone said: "It's been good fun rehearsing for this one – a family gathering for a tent camping weekend in Yorkshire – not all the family members get on, there's trouble ahead and all is not as it seems. There's also a surprising end to the tale. Our main problem is how to get all the camping gear needed on to our small stage!"
They have also been invited to do a number of Murder Mystery's in different parts of Lancashire so they keep themselves very busy.
Dates for Happy Campers are May 29 and 30 at 7.30pm. Tickets are £7 which include hot pot supper and you can bring your own bottle.
A bargain night out by any standards. Ring Barbara on (01772) 682491 or Chris on (01772) 880203 for tickets and more information. Visit www.quins.info for details of past and future productions.
