Thursday
Iceland's most famous export, musician and actress Bjork, will be treating fans to a typically surreal evening at Blackpool's Empress Ballroom, at the Winter Gardens. Start time: 7pm. Tickets: £37.
Friday
Singer Songwriter Amy Wadge will be making a welcome return to the Grand Theatre, Blackpool. Having been described by Mojo Magazine as a 'the pint- sized poetess with the valley quaking voice', Amy has twice beaten Charlotte Church and Cerys Matthews to the Best Female Solo Artist at the Welsh Music awards. Start time: 8pm. Tickets: £10.
Saturday
Clairvoyant Dawn Sherwood will be making an appearance at the Grand Theatre, Blackpool. Dawn uses her abilities to pass on messages of comfort, acknowledgement and healing from spirit, reuniting those in the physical world with those who have crossed over.She invites willing members of the audience to do photo readings and partake in psychic games…the results are fun and participants often shock themselves with their own psychic abilities. Start time: 7.30pm. Tickets: £10.
Join the double British Comedy Awards winner and star of Phoenix Nights Dave Spikey, on his latest tour. He will be performing for one night only at the Guild Hall and Charter Theatre, Preston. Start time: 7.45pm. Tickets: £17.50.
Sunday
The Kings of Swing, one of the UK's most exciting and original swing productions, will be making an appearance at The Guild Hall and Charter Theatre, Preston.
Headed by three superb young swing singers, Tony Benedict, Paul Pashley and Mark Porter with a guest appearance Lynn Kennedy and the nine-piece Kings of Swing Orchestra. Start time: 7.30pm. Tickets: £16.50-17.50.
Monday
Since their debut in 1969, Steeleye Span have become one of the most influential names in British roots music. They will be appearing at Preston's Guild Hall and Charter Theatre. With Maddy Prior at the helm this is Steeleye Span as they were meant to be heard, fusing traditional music with the power of rock band in a manner that has had a profound influence on generations of musicians. Start time: 7.30pm. Tickets: £16.50.
Tuesday
At the request of many Blackpool people, veteran entertainer Duggie Chapman will be re-opening the Pavilion Theatre in the Winter Gardens, and will be presenting a family variety show every Tuesday and Wednesday in the afternoons at 2pm.
This is at the request of many senior citizens who don't want to venture out at nights. The admission for this show will also include free tea and biscuits in the interval.
Wednesday
Children's TV Favourites CBeebies will come to life on stage for the first time at the Opera House Theatre at the Winter Gardens in Blackpool. Start Time: 11am and 2pm. Tickets £10-14.50.
