Here is a list of upcoming events.
Thursday
FYLDE residents have got the chance to shake off a few pounds tonight.
Slimming classes are being held in Freckleton and take place every week.
Tonight's class is being held at the Freckleton Sports and Social Club on Preston Road.
New members are welcome to go along to the event, which starts at 6pm and finishes at 8pm

Friday
A LYTHAM arts exhibition is taking place today.
Created by photographer David Culshaw, the six-week exhibition will feature a variety of different images that show Lytham and St Annes in a different light.
Visitors can expect to see a number of iconic local landmarks with an 'avant garden' theme featuring in David's collection.
It's taking place at the Lytham Art Gallery. For more information contact the gallery on (01253) 730600.

Saturday
KIRKHAM Local History Society are meeting today.
Brian Marshall will be giving a talk entitled 'Over Wyre'.
It's being held at Kirkham Cricket Club on Woodlands Avenue and starts at 7.30pm
Entry is free to members and costs just £1.50 for non members.

Sunday
A BATTLE of wits is taking place tonight.
Quiz Night is being held at The Shovels Pub on Common Edge Road.
All proceeds for the Ormerod Group, a local charity supporting adults and children with physical and learning disabilities. Raffle and prizes on the evening.
It starts at 8.30pm and tickets cost £5 per team

Monday
TODAY is Toddler Rhyme Time.
The sessions take place every Monday and are a huge hit with both parents and children.
They're held at St Annes library and start at 10am.

FRECKLETON Brass Band is practicing tonight.
The band is one of a few self supported championship section bands in the country and meet twice a week to perfect their iconic sounds.
New members are welcome to join the brass outfit at their rehearsals held in the bandroom, located to the rear of the Coach and Horses pub in the village.
Practice starts at 8pm.

Tuesday
TONIGHT could be your lucky night if you're a fan of bingo.
Up to £100 can be won in prize money at the St Annes Conservative Club, on Clifton Drive South.
The night is always a popular destination for Fylde residents and starts at 8pm

Wednesday
AN EXHIBITION featuring Fylde artists is taking place today.
Safer with Strangers will 'compare & contrast' the practice of five different artists (local, national and international) and examine the migration of artists away from small towns to big cities.
It's taking place at the PAD Gallery, on Church Street, Preston Admission is free and for more information, contact Josephine Rice, on (01772) 561615

NOEL Coward's Improbable Farce 'Blithe Spirit' is being performed tonight.
The show is taking place at Lowther Pavilion and is sure to be a great event for local audiences.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets cost £9 for adults and £8.50 for concessions.

A GOSPEL Choir Concert is taking place tonight.
'Kirkham Schools Together' is presenting their first ever Gospel Choir Concert.
The renowned 'One Voice' Community Gospel Choir will combine with four local Primary Schools to present an evening of Gospel and popular music.
All proceeds are in aid of Donna's Dream House in Blackpool.
The show is being held at the Christ Church in Wesham and starts at 7pm.
