Here is this week's list of coming events.
Thursday
Hello Dolly is at the Charter Theatre Preston. The musical stars former Eastenders actress, Anita Dobson, in the title role (until May 17).

Barney Live: The Let's Go Tour, the popular children's show starring the friendly dinosaur, is at Blackpool's Grand Theatre.

Friday
Blackpool Grand Theatre ghost walk with Ian Lawman: Spooky goings-on start at midnight. Check for ticket availability on (01253) 290190.

Saturday
Last Night of the Spring Proms at the Guild Hall, Preston, starting at 7.30pm.

David Dickinson brings Dickinson's Real Deal to Lowther Pavilion, 9am-5pm. Turn up on the day or call the hotline on 0117 970 7618 to book.

Sunday
The Motown Show comes to the Charter Theatre, Preston, from 7.30pm.


Monday
Brassed Off star Stephen Tompkinson, St Annes actor, presents a four-part celebration of the UK's long love affair with brass bands and the music of brass on BBC Radio 2, starting at 11.30pm. Brass Britain features music from the Pennine hills to the Welsh valleys, from the Cornish copper towns to the Scottish glens and over the sea to Ireland.

Tuesday
The annual schools' music festival is at the Guild Hall, Preston (until Thursday) from 7.15pm nightly.

Wednesday
St Annes Library on Clifton Drive South hosts an event from 7.30pm to launch a new friends' of the library group, featuring a talk from a local historian.

Moving On is at the Charter Theatre, Preston, starting at 7.30pm.
