Thursday
Rev Michael Payne will be Following in the Steps of an Emperor for his talk at the Cleveleys Probus Club. Members will meet at the Masonic Hall on West Drive from 9.45am.

A photographic exhibition at the Solaris Centre on South Promenade continues until April 30. Around 80 pictures of various subjects will be on show at the event, hosted by the Joint Fylde Photographic Societies, comprising members from Fleetwood, Poulton, Lytham and St Annes.

Friday
The Windmill Arts Society meets at the Frank Townend Centre, Beach Road, Cleveleys, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Contact (01253) 855072.

A weekly craft group meets at Holy Cross Church, Central Drive, Blackpool, from 1.30pm to 3.30pm. Admisison is £2.


Saturday
Spring will be in the air at a seasonal fair in Ansdell next weekend. Ansdell Unitarian Church, on Channing Road, will be holding the event on at 2pm. Tickets cost £1 which includes refreshments and a lucky ticket prize.

Sunday
Train enthusiasts will have the chance to buy and sell train relics at the Carnforth Railway Station train fair.
The event, which will feature railway relics and model railways, takes place on April 20 and people can bring their own items to exchange. It will run from 10am to 2.30pm and admission is £1 for adults and children are free.
All money raised will be used for the maintenance of the station. For more information call (01253) 875205.

Monday
Today is the closing date for entries for the Great Manchester Run – and Galloways Society for the Blind is appealing for any runners who want to take part. Galloways does not charge runners to take part in the 10k event but they are looking to raise sponsorship money. Tuesday
Blackpool and Fylde Barbershop Harmony Club meets at Brun Grove Workingmen's Club. Contact Pete Lavelle on (01253) 867218.

Wednesday
Cleveleys Park Methodist Church has a coffee morning at 10.30am and a Mix and Meet Group at 2pm, for people on their own to enjoy a cuppa and make new friends. Contact (01253) 876051.
