Here are this this week's list of coming events.
ThursdayThe third annual beer and pie festival takes place in Lancaster at the White Cross pub, The Penny Bank in Penny Street and the Merchants in Castle Hill will all be taking part in the festival, which will feature 35 cask ales and 16 types of pie from April 24 to 26.

Two final year fine art students are inviting people to view their exhibition.
Darren Beatty, 35, creates paintings with an aim to "question our perception of truth in everyday images". Alex Daw, 25, uses paint and collage to "convey his imagery on consumerism, destruction, love and pain". The work will be at the university of Central Lancashire's PR1 Gallery in the Victoria Building until April 25.

SaturdayJohnny Mans Productions presents the Spirit of Pavarotti at Lowther Pavilion, Lytham, from 7.30pm. International opera singing star Lee Bradley, principal tenor with the English National Philharmonic Orchestra, joins soprano Serenna agner and classical accompanist Melanie Jones.

SundayThere will be a bikini car wash at the Number 3 pub, Devonshire Square, Blackpool, starting at 1pm. The event is to raise funds for local girl Nikki Amer to fly out to Thailand to join her partner, Ryan Neale, who is fighting for his life after a hit and run accident.

MondayIndie band I Like Trains will play at Lancaster Library tonight.

TuesdayShowproviders present Route 66 at Lowther Pavilion, Lytham. Lay back and take a musical journey through an American era of country rock, pop and traditional classics. Start time: 7.30pm. Tickets: Adults £14, concessions £12.50.

WednesdayBlood donor sessions are being held at Waterloo Methodist Church, Spen Corner, between 2pm and 4pm, or between 5.30pm and 7.30pm.
South Pacific will be performed by Garstang Light Opera at Garstang High School tonight until Saturday at 7.30pm nightly. Tickets are £7 each.
