BETWEEN Thursday, October 25 and Wednesday, October 31 here is what is on
Thursday

An illustrated talk, Lytham Hall: The War Years, by local historian Ann Pinder, takes places.
The event is at the hall from 7.30pm with guests asked to arrive between 6.30-7pm.

A talk on butterflies will be on at the RSPB Ribble Discovery Centre at 8pm.
Laura Swell of the Lancashire Butterfly Conservation society looks at the more intimate side of these beautiful creatures and booking is essential - at the centre or contact Ruth Fraser or Julie Vale on (01253) 796292.

Friday

A second day of half term activities gets under way at the RSPB Ribble Discovery Centre.
An afternoon of fun will be on between 2pm and 4pm.

Saturday

Two more days of half term fun start at the RSPB Ribble Discovery Centre.
Feed the birds events will be on with activities from 10am to 4pm.

Sunday

A Sunday Walk will be staged at Lytham Hall.
See the autumn colours in the grounds and guided tours of the hall will be available

Monday

Fylde Bike Club will be gathering.
They meet in St Annes Square at 6:30pm

Tuesday

Kirkham and rural Fylde Probus Club will meet at the Conservative Club, Ribby Road, Kirkham at 10am.
The speaker will be Gareth Owen and his subject will be Home Computers.

An exhibition - the North West Windmills Exhibition - continues at Lytham Heritage Centre.
It will run until Sunday, November 18 and is open Tuesday to Sunday with free admission.

Wednesday

Lytham St Annes Philatelic Society will meet at The Drive Methodist Church Hall, Eastbank Road, St Annes.
The event starts at 7:30pm after an informal gathering from 7pm and W Crichton will speak on 'Baltic Surprise'.
