THESE events are on this week.
Thursday
Fylde residents have got the chance to shake off a few of those Christmas pounds tonight.
Sliming classes are being held in Freckleton and take place every week.
Tonight's class is being held at the Freckleton Sports and Social Club on Preston Road.
New members are welcome to go along to the event, which starts at 6pm and finishes at 8pm

Friday
A JAZZ feast is swinging into Kirkham.
Kirkham Schools Together is proudly presenting the Big Band Sound of the Lancashire Students Jazz Orchestra next month.
Their performances will be joined together with light, classical music, from the students of the Kirkham and Lytham Music Centres.
This annual concert is quickly establishing itself as a popular event for Fylde audiences and kicks off at 7.15pm.
Tickets cost just £4 and for more information, people should call Kirkham Schools Together on either (01772) 672455 or, (01772) 682161.

Saturday
Residents can go along to view some Lytham's history today.
Treasures from our Archives is being held at the Lytham Heritage Centre and is sure to be a big hit with Fylde residents.
The exhibition will feature a variety of never before seen materials, giving an informative and interesting insight into Lytham from years gone by.
There will be a variety of paintings, maps and pictures, as well as recordings of past events in the month long presentation.
Admission is free to the exhibition, which is open Tuesday to Sunday, 10am - 4pm.

Sunday
Lytham Hall will once again be hosting its annual Snowdrop Walks.
Parking in the grounds is for disabled drivers only, other vehicles may park in Aegon Car Park adjacent to the main gates. Stout shoes are recommended by officials and dogs, although welcome, must be kept on a leash.
Entrance to the grounds opens at 11am and last entry is at 2.30pm.
The entrance cost is £2.50 for adults and £1 for children. Family tickets are also available.

Monday
TODAY is Toddler Rhyme Time.
The sessions take place every Monday and are a huge hit with both parents and children.
They're held at St Annes library and start at 10am.

Freckleton Brass Band are practicing tonight.
The Freckleton Brass Band is one of a few self supported championship section bands in the country and meet twice a week to perfect their iconic sounds.
New members are welcome to join the brass outfit at their rehearsals held in the bandroom, located to the rear of the Coach and Horses pub in the village.
Practice starts at 8pm.

Tuesday
Tonight could be your lucky night if you're a fan of Bingo.
Up to £100 can be won in prize money at the St Annes Conservative Club, on Clifton Drive South.
The night is always a popular destination for Fylde residents and starts at 8pm

Wednesday
Why not treat yourself to a meal tonight with the council's Feast for Ten plus - Gourmet Fylde festival that is running until the end of February.
It's a mouth-watering celebration of wonderful Fylde cuisine where fine restaurants offer a set price local produce menu.
In partnership with Fylde Borough Council and local restaurants, residents can choose from a menu for the total cost of £10, £12.50 and £15 per person using local produce.
