IT was a cold night, but an excellent programme of music at Carr Hill High School, Kirkham, brought warmth to a packed audience at the Annual Lancashire Music Services Jazz Concert.

Kirkham Music Centre started off the evening with their wind ensemble, directed by Debbie Spence, comprising young musicians from Kirkham and rural Fylde.
The Lancashire Schools Jazz Orchestra, with musical director Paul Rigby, ended the first half.
The second half featured the choir from Kirkham Music Centre under the direction of Kathryn Barnett deliver a collection of songs with soloists.
The Jazz Orchestra finished the evening off with music that included the Glenn Miller classic Tuxedo Junction
