A CHRISTIAN rock band and songs from the musicals were two aspects of the entertainment when St Annes hosted a churches' fun day.
Pentecost in the Park, held in Ashton Gardens, featured bouncy castles, games stalls, give-away stalls, face-painting, book stalls and seated areas.
Admission to the event was free and crowds enjoyed the pleasant, warm weather.
The event was organised jointly by churches in St Annes and in the main area, a banner was erected proclaiming "Hope: Jesus Christ, the hope for St Annes".
Pastor Steve Moss, of Fylde Christian Service Church, said: "The churches of St Annes wanted to bless the people of St Annes to do them good. We want to share the good news that Jesus Christ brings – a real hope."
