A KIRKHAM councillor believes the Fylde is going to suffer as a result of the new budget.
Coun Simon Renwick claims that responsible drinkers, pensionners, first time buyers and drivers are all going to be hit the hardest as a result of the new budget.

Councillor Renwick said: "The cost of living is rising fast, but the Government has added to it with a barrage of new stealth taxes.

"Any extra taxes on alcohol or cars should be offset by tax cuts elsewhere.

"Taxes and borrowing are up because the Government failed to use the good years to prepare for the bad years."
