Passengers injured in Freckleton crash

EMERGENCY services rushed to the scene of a bus and coach crash in Freckleton on Wednesday morning.
At least two passengers were injured in the accident, involving a double decker bus and a single decker coach on Preston New Road, shortly before 10.30am.

Two fire appliances, two special appliances and two ambulances attended.

Both the bus and coach were carrying passengers at the time.
The casualties were being treated at the scene.

Their injuries were thought to be minor.

Part of the road had to be closed off for more than an hour while the vehicles and debris were recovered from the area.
