POLICE are appealing for a missing woman to come forward after vanishing at the weekend.

Anne-Marie Houghton has been missing since Sunday morning when she was last seen leaving her home in Clifton.

Her partner's car, which Anne Marie had been using, was found later that day parked near to her parents' address on Garrison Road, Fulwood although there was no trace of her in the area.

Anne–Marie is approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall, she has shoulder length brown hair, she is of slim build and when she was last seen she was believed to have been wearing denim jeans and pink timberland boots.

Inspector Kirstie Banks-Lyon of Blackpool Police said: "It is very unlike Anne-Marie to go missing like this and we would urge her or anybody who may have seen her to come forward so we know she is safe and well."

Anyone with any information should contact Blackpool Police on 01253 293933."
