Melissa Hillier, Thomas’s mum, said: “They are best friends and chose the Guide Dogs charity because Oscar had experience of his family sponsoring a guide dog when he was little and
more recently, Thomas’s year 3 class have recently sponsored a hearing dog; so the cause for both of them was quite pertinent.”
The pair ran from Thomas’s school on Park View Road, in Lytham, and finished on the front at Lytham Windmill.
Melissa added: “It’s a long way to run for little legs!

“They were tired at the end but absolutely elated to complete it and raise such a huge amount of money for a fantastic cause.
“The total stands at £430 and remains open for any last minute donations.”
