A JOINER who swore at police told a court he was drunk at the time.
Aiden Ward-Smith also made abusive gestures at officers before shouting: "I hate coppers".

Jayne Barty, prosecuting, said police were called to a disturbance at an address in Clifton Street, Lytham, where the occupants had locked themselves in the bathroom to get away from Ward-Smith.
Ward-Smith shouted at the officer: "What are you doing here, you have no right to be here."
Police described him as showing an "appalling attitude" throughout.
He was arrested when he refused to calm down.
