Double murder charges dropped

A LYTHAM man who had been accused of a double murder has had all charges against him dropped.
Peter Bowden, 39, was charged with two counts of murder and arson with intent to endanger life following a house fire in Blackburn last October.

Now, he and Imran Ali, 29, from Manchester, have had their case discontinued.

Four other men from the London area have been charged with murder and arson.

Their trial will be heard at Preston Crown Court on June 8.
