TWO Warton mothers need more residents' views on a local play area.
Mia Law and Christine Mason have been campaigning for new play facilities at Bridges Park.

Fylde Borough Council has agreed to support the idea after the mums secured more than 400 signatures in favour of revamping the park.

The two campaigners now need to draw up plans for what the new facilities will look like and have asked the local community to get involved.

Mia, who set up the Friends of Bridges Campaign, said: "At the moment there is only one swing but that is older than me! Thankfully, we have now reached the stage where we need to decide what new equipment we want on the park and we are looking for everyone, young and old, to get involved and tell us what they would like to see."

After the consultation process the campaigners will then organise fund-raising events to pay for facilities.

Anyone who is interested in putting their views forward can write in to the Express and we will pass them on. You can leave your comments here on the web too.
