THE inquest into a tragic eight-year-old who was found hanged at home this summer takes place this morning.
Joshua Aldred, who lived at Victory Boulevard, Lytham, died in June.
PC Helen Greaves, told the inquest when it opened and adjourned in Blackpool in June: "On June 5, Joshua had been to school and arrived home as usual. At 6.15pm he went upstairs to his room. About 7pm his grandmother went upstairs to check on him and found him."
Joshua was taken to Blackpool Victoria Hospital but was pronouned dead at 7.45pm.
A postmortem confirmed he died from compression of the neck from hanging by a ligature.
See the Express for a full report of the inquest on Thursday.
