THE Taps Public House in Lytham donated a fantastic £7,500 to Rosemere following their national award for the best Community Pub in the country.

Managed by June and Ian Rigg, they won the Scottish and Newcastle Brewery Award as a result of all the fundraising they have done for the community over the years.
From quiz nights to football cards to competitions, there is always some fundraising going on at The Taps.
One of the biggest events that they host is the annual Taps Bike Ride that is a choice of 15 or 30 miles and raises in excess of £5,000 every year.
Organised by Edward Cook and his wife Kay, this year the bike ride takes place on July 6 with the "apres" refreshments and prizes taking place in the pub. This normally lasts longer than the ride, say organisers.

The Rosemere Cancer Foundation raises funds to support the provision of cancer services at the regional cancer centre at Royal Preston Hospital and in the local cancer units throughout Lancashire and South Cumbria.
