Police have released a CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the alleged rape of a woman in Blackpool.

The victim, who is from St Annes, was on a night out in the Queen Street area when she met the man.

She went to an address with him where she was allegedly raped.

Police have released this CCTV image of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.

Det Insp Tony Baxter, from Blackpool CID, said: “I would appeal to anyone who recognises this man to come forward. I would also appeal directly to the man in the CCTV to get in touch with police.”

The incident happened on Tuesday, July 31 at an unknown address in Blackpool.

Anyone with information is urged to call Blackpool CID on 101.
