POLICE are appealing for help to try and trace a Poulton man who is wanted on prison recall.

Joseph Gregory, 22, whose last known address was Princess Avenue, Poulton, was jailed for 12 months for a driving offence in 2012.

He was released from prison on licence, but has since breached the terms of his licence so has been recalled to serve the remainder of his sentence.

He is described as being around 5ft 7in tall, of medium build, with blue eyes and cropped brown hair. He has a scar above his left eye, and a tattoo of his surname ‘Gregory’ on right arm.

A spokeswoman for Lancashire Constabulary said: “If anybody knows of Joseph Gregory’s current whereabouts, please contact police.

“We would ask the public to be vigilant and report any sightings to us.

“As a force we have a high success rate of returning people to prison and use all methods to catch people and return them to serve the remainder of their sentence.”
