A former Fylde student enjoyed a visit to Buckingham Palace after helping to install a new ticketing system at three Royal residencies.
Alistair Armit, 46, a former Lytham St Annes Technology and Performing Arts College student, was invited to the Queen’s home in London last week.
He has helped to install marketing and ticketing systems for visitors in Buckingham Palace, Windsor Castle and Holyrood Palace and has worked with the management team at the Palace in training staff.
Alistair invited his mother Angela, 72, who used to live and work in Lytham before retiring to Suffolk, as he visited the residency on his birthday.
He said: “We saw many of the Royal family and had a chat with Prince Michael of Kent.
“There were two fantastic bands playing and the gardens were wonderful. I know mum and I had a day we will never forget.”
