A new craze looks set to sweep Fylde coast dance studios.
Fitsteps is a new dance-based fitness class created by Strictly Come Dancing stars Ian Waite and Natalie Lowe.
It features the best of ballroom and Latin mixed with the fitness moves.
The class is broken down into easily learnable sections, with different levels to suit all ages and people of all fitness abilities – including those who “can’t dance”. It aims to be a fun and effective way for people to exercise, get fitness results and keep in shape.
Classes on the Fylde coast take place on Wednesdays, from 10.15am until 11am, at Ribby Hall, in Wrea Green.
Instructor Suzy Clayton-Jones said: “A small selection of pioneer Fitsteps instructors are launching the classes.
“I launched the first class at Ribby Hall to 42 ladies – mostly over the age of 50.
“All the ladies who have taken part so far loved it. It’s suitable for all ages and all fitness levels. And it’s great fun.”
