“People were supported to maintain and develop relationships with people who mattered to them, and knew their comments and complaints would be listened to and responded to.”

The adult social care inspector looked at the care records of four people, training and recruitment records of staff members and records relating to
the management of the
service, and also spoke to service commissioning authorities.

Those being cared for told the inspector they could ‘set their clock’ by the punctuality of visits by staff, who were trained in medicines and in safeguarding vulnerable adults.

The registered manager consulted with stakeholders, people they supported and relatives for their input on how the service could continually improve.

And a range of audits were in place to monitor the health, safety and welfare of people, and steps taken to make improvements, where applicable.
