Has anyone seen a parrot that can whistle the theme tune from the western The Good, The Bad and The Ugly?

A Kirkham man and his family have been left distraught after their beloved pet Kuzco an African grey escaped from his cage.

The talented bird fled while his cage was being cleaned and got out into the wild. But despite him being very friendly the Scott family have searched for days without luck.

Owner Martin Scott, who works at BAE Systems, said he had appealed all around the area. His wife Emi and son Nathan who has cerebral palsy were both missing their feathered friend.

Martin said: “In the 19 days since we lost him, I have had great support from the local community, my colleagues at BAE Systems and especially from a lady called Lynn Parkinson who works at Problem Parrots on social media to reunite lost birds with their owners.

“Lynn and many others have said I should not give up looking because there is a good chance that Kuzco can be surviving very well in some wooded areas.

“This is due to the protection from all the foliage at this time of year but also there is plenty of food, such as berries.

“Last Sunday someone reported seeing a parrot having an altercation with some other birds in the grounds of Willows RC Church, near Kirkham Grammar, it then flew over her house and north towards the cricket ground.”
