Fylde set to host worldwide conference of UFO experts

BEAM me up Scotty!

THE biggest event on the paranormal calendar is coming to St Annes this Spring.

Fylde-Based Probe International UK is coming to the town for a UFO conference with talks by experts from around the world.

Around 400 people are expected to attend the event, which will take place at the St Annes YMCA on St Albans Road on March 28 and 29. As well as talks, people will also get the chance to have their aura read and purchase memorabilia.

Event organiser Jean Wright said: "We've got a terrific line up and there is a little bit of something for everyone. All we ask is that people come with an open mind."

"I'm not aware of any recent sightings in Lytham St Annes but a lot of the time people see things but they don't tell anyone because they are afraid of being laughed at. That won't happen here - it's just normal people who are willing to share their experiences and listen to others."

The two-day event will feature various talks with eight speakers in total.

On the first day Matt De Looze will speak on Breaking the Serpents Spell, followed by Robert Hulse on From Abraham to Eric. Then it will be the turn of Mark Olly on the topic of Lost Treasures and finally, Philip Coppens on the topic of Servants of the Grail.

On the second day there will be four more speakers; Nathan Sorea on The Traveller and The Game of Now, Tony Topping on UFO's - The Real Story, Phil Medley on Who Built the Temples of the Ancient World and Paula Paradaema on The Evolution of Animals to Mankind.

Tickets are 15 per day and there are concessions for groups of four or more.

There is parking at the site and refreshments will be available.
