Evofit of a man police want to talk to about an indecent exposure incident in St Annes.

POLICE investigating an indecent exposure in St Annes have released an Evofit of a man they would like to speak to.

Sometime between 3.45 and 4pm on Saturday, December 1, woman was walking her dog on Mayfield Road when she heard a man call out ‘excuse me’ from a car parked across from the British Legion Club.

As the 59-year-old woman walked over to the car, expecting to be asked for directions, she noticed that the man had his pants pulled down exposing himself and performing a sex act.

The man then sped off as the victim reached for her mobile phone.

The man is described as being a respectable looking, white, middle aged man with a round face and a fair complexion. He was wearing a dark coloured beanie hat and a dark coloured jumper and had no visible tattoos or scars.

He was driving a small silver coloured VW hatchback, possibly a Polo or Golf, with a registration ending OED or OAD.

Police have now released an Evofit of a man they would like to speak to.

PC Darren Coathup said: “I would appeal to anybody who thinks they may recognise the man in the Evofit to contact police.

“This was a very distressing time for the woman involved and if you have any information which may lead us to identify this man contact police on 101 quoting log reference 1168.”

People with information can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111 or online at Crimestoppers-uk.org. No personal details are taken, information is not traced or recorded and you will not go to court.
