Twinkle-toed Zac Crowe, who has been dancing almost since he could walk, has been offered a place with the renowned Youth Musical Theatre Company of England – the launch pad of the likes of Emma Watson.

However, the teen needs to raise the vital cash to fund a summer season based at Aberdeen University producing and starring in a production called Maelstrom.

On top of that Zac, an accomplished choreographer, has been offered a part in a top West End production.

The 14-year-old said it is dream come true for him and although only young, he is trying to raise as much money as he can.

He has set up a crowdfunding appeal but is hoping to find a sponsor so he can fulfil his dreams.

Zac said: “Also this summer I am participating in a production with the West End called ‘Charlie and the chocolate factory’.

“This means that I will be performing on one of the most famous West End stages, ‘Her Majesty’s Theatre’ which is home to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s, Phantom of the Opera. I am thoroughly excited and I cannot wait for the summer.

“I understand the importance of these opportunities and the cost they come at, so as a young adult now I would like to help myself get there.

“With this in mind, I am contacting local businesses, that may have an interest in supporting me as well as doing fundraising events at school and hopefully I will have some support off my dance companies.

“I feel it is down to me to be able to support myself and be active in this.”
