Woman hurt in police car crash
A police car was left with a damaged front end after it collided with another car near Wrea Green.
The car was in collision with a silver Hyundai close to the A583 at Fox Lane Ends at 2.30pm today, a Lancashire Police spokesman said, although pictures showed the damaged police car on the A583 Preston New Road.
The male driver of the Hyundai was uninjured, with a female passenger suffering a sore arm.
The male driver of the police car was also uninjured.
Both vehicles were recovered from the scene shortly after.
