A new online mental health service has been launched to help people aged over 16 in Fylde and Wyre.
NHS Fylde and Wyre Clinical Commissioning Group has set up Big White Wall, which will provide free, safe and anonymous online mental health and emotional wellbeing support to those who need it.
It includes “talkabouts” where members can talk to each other about their experiences, creative art and writing therapies and self-help material.
Dr Kath Greenwood, a GP and the CCG’s clinical lead for mental health, said: “We felt Big White Wall could help to reach those people in our communities who find it difficult to talk about their problems.
“Improving access to mental health services is one of our key priorities as commissioners of health services”
