Fylde MP Mark Menzies is looking forward to exciting times ahead at Lytham Hall after paying a visit to the historic stately home.

Lytham Hall joins Blackpool Tower as the only other Grade I listed building on the Fylde coast and is rightly seen as a jewel in the area’s crown.

A project is now underway and Mr Menzies visited the hall to meet the team behind the scheme, view the current progress and hear about the exciting plans in the pipeline.

Following the visit, the Member of Parliament said: “It was fascinating to see the preparation work getting underway before the renovation work starts in earnest at the site next year and throughout 2016.

“While Lytham Hall is a stunning reminder of the history behind Fylde, I cannot wait to see the finished building and grounds when they are restored to their former glory.

“The team behind the project are doing a fantastic job.

“They will continue to need the support of Fylde residents as they move forward and I hope people will continue to raise funds for this fantastic asset.”
