A PARK in rural Fylde will host an Easter fun day to help raise £60,000 to transform it into a first-class play area.

The Friends of Freckleton Memorial Park group is holding an Easter Funday on Sunday, March 31 between 11am and 3pm.

The aim is to improve all facilities on the park.

Organiser Lynne Braithwaite said: “There will be loads going on as we celebrate the fun day. We’ll be having an Easter egg hunt, tombola, raffle and bouncy castle. We’ve seen the parks at Lytham and Kirkham and we want the same facilities here too for people in Freckleton.”
