Across the town, eleven planning applications were validated last week, meaning the council had checked they were complete and included all relevant supporting information.
They include the erection of 23 homes, a new HMO and a makeover for a city centre pub among other applications.

Application validated on Apr 29 for installation of replacement roof and new uPVC gutters and downpipes.
3. 22-36 Church Street, Blackpool FY1 1EW
Application validated on Apr 29 for display two pvc promotional banners measuring 6.7m x 5.9m and 6.7m x 6.9m at high level facing Church Street and Corporation Street elevations.
4. 219 Preston New Road, Blackpool FY3 9TU
Application validated on Apr 29 for amendment to planning permission 23/0339 comprising of changing the roof design from double hip to single hip. (None material amendment not subject to consultation).
5. 50 Seafield Road, Blackpool FY1 2LS
Application validated on Apr 29 for use of premises as a House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) for up to six persons.
6. Unit 5, Tram Station, Talbot Road, Blackpool FY1 1AQ
Application validated on Apr 29 for installation of a full height louvre to accommodate ventilation intake and output to front elevation.
