The phenomenal demand for The Bobby Ball to be held at Blackpool’s Winter Gardens in November came after tickets for that and a star-studded variety show at the same venue going on sale prompted a reaction which Bobby’s widow Yvonne described as “overwhelming”.
The events are being held to mark the launch of the Bobby Ball Charity Foundation by Yvonne to support the organisations Bobby was so passionate about across the Fylde coast.

“Tickets for The Bobby Ball just flew out and I can’t thank people enough for supporting this as it will enable us to help the charities and causes Bobby cared so much about.”
Money raised from both events will go to Lytham’s Lowther Pavilion and the Blue Skies Hospitals Fund – two organisations Bobby was an active patron and supporter of– as well as supporting the cost of a Bobby statue in Lytham’s Lowther Gardens.
An appeal for £100,000 to cover that was launched in December is currently approaching £25,000.
