The preferred option to revamp the site of a derelict Fylde coast venue is set to be confirmed today.
The Scruples site in Lytham foreshore, a former nightclub, was the subject of two proposals by the Lytham St Annes Civic Society and Park View to refurbish the area earlier this year.
After both presentations were made to Fylde Council, the Civic Society’s plans for a low maintenance scheme were recommended for approval by a scrutiny committee.
Both bids were the subject of public consultation, which ended in October, with more than 2,200 responses received.
The council’s cabinet is to meet tonight at 5.30pm at the town hall in St Annes to make its decision.
