Stuck car left to the tide
Coastguard crews were called out when a driver got his vehicle stuck in the mud of the Ribble Estuary.
The incident happened on Sunday afternoon close to Lytham Green.
Coastguard teams attended but were unable to recover the Mercedes 4x4 before the tide came in.
The vehicle was left in the mud.
It was recovered, with help from a tractor, on Monday morning
