Council leisure chiefs have reported a highly encouraging increase in the number of people enjoying what Fylde has to offer.
Seafront attractions at the council-run Fairhaven Lake, St Annes boating lake, mini golf and crazy golf are all around 10 per cent up on visitors compared to this time last year.
And the tourism website visitlythamstannes.co.uk has seen 20 per cent more activity, says the council.
Figures for May this year show 12,090 hits compared to 9,651 in May 2010 and 14,234 in April this year compared to 8,563 in April 2010.
Hoteliers also report encouraging signs as regards room bookings.
