PEACE-of-mind living in luxury surroundings.
That's what local award-winning Newfield Jones Homes are offering at their wonderful Ashton View retirement scheme at St George's Road, St Annes.
The first residents are moving in – and so has experienced house manager Keith Taylor, aged 73, who is there to help ensure everyone is safe and well and happy.
Keith, who began his job at Ashton View last Monday, said: "I will be here 24 hours a day living in as house manager.
"My job is to ensure all communal areas in the building are maintained.
"I maintain the lift and two laundry rooms and book the guest room for residents.
"I generally am on call through the call system during the day and night."
Keith, a former medical rep, has managed local nursing homes previously.
Tony Mellor, of Newfield Jones, said: "There's peace of mind that there's someone to rely on."
Sales negotiator Sandra Foster, who has been selling new properties since 1986, has a wealth of experience in the business said: "We have had a very good reaction to the advertising and the first clients have moved in and sales are very strong and there's always a high level of interest."
Purchasers - it's for the over 55s - can choose from a one or two bedroom apartment offering the security of speak and see video entry systems linked to the main entrance.
The development is within walking distance of Sainsbury's, the train station and has a bowling green on either side.
