SOCIAL gatherings from years gone by is the subject for this week's Reflections.
More than a hundred people turned up at mannequin parade orgainsed by the Lytham St Annes women's voluntary committee at the Hotel Majestic ballroom in St Annes.
Dr Benjamin Pollard, Lord Bishop of Lancaster, was also at the Hotel Majestic, giving an address at the St Annes College speech day.
Guests and officials attend the St Annes War Memorial Hospital dance at the Grand Hotel in St Annes and workers at St Thomas' annual parochial social play enjoy some much needed rest.
Do you remember any of these events taking place? Perhaps you are attended some one of them.
Or, have you got any photographs of similar events?
If so, we'd like to hear from you.
