THE King Edward and Queen Mary school annual hockey and netball presentation evening proved to be the biggest yet - with more than 200 girls collecting certificates.
The prestigious Hannah Hollinshead Trophy, awarded for commitment to Hockey, was presented to Penny Pemberton by ex-pupil and 2001 Hockey Captain Kerry Hunt. It was a double celebration for the Pemberton family as older sister, Amy, received the trophy last year.

Hockey 'Players of the Season' were: U12 Evie Manning & Heather Bulloch; U13 Ruby Lawson & Katy Lenney; U14 Natasha Singleton; U15 Catherine Latham; U16 Sophie Owen; 1st & 2nd XI Laura Bury & Olivia Swift.

Netball 'Players of the Season' were: U12 Rachel Hirst & Lily Chadwick; U13 Katy Alderson & Rachael Harrison; U14 Hazel Cockerill; U15 Abbey Hesketh; U16 Gaby Little.
