POULTON Street in Kirkham was a hive of activity in the town on Saturday – as fans eager to get their hands on tickets for the FA Vase Final at Wembley in May went on sale at the new club shop.
And England football legends Sir Tom Finney (ex-Preston North End) and Jimmy Armfield OBE (ex-Blackpool) were there along with local dignitaries to see the day get off to a perfect start.
Club spokesman Howard Jones said: "The shop, decked out in the club's white and blue favours, is now open to fans wishing to purchase match tickets for the final against Lowestoft Town on Sunday May 11 at 3pm, organise travel arrangements and buy club memorabilia."
The opening hours are:Tuesday-Friday from 11am-5-30pm, Saturdays 9am-5.30pm.
