A LYTHAM teenager is facing a sporting dilemma
Fifteen-year-old Harriet Creighton-Levis ran seven tries for her girls' rugby team in just four matches.
But she has revealed that her passion really lies with the round ball, rather than oval ball.
And Harriet has made her decision finally by being accepted into the Blackburn Rovers Centre of Excellence for talented young female football players.
She said. "I enjoy playing rugby and do seem to be able to beat people for pace - but football is my first love.
"My ambition is to make the England ladies' football team one day."
Harriet, a pupil at King Edward VII and Queen Mary School of Lytham, revealed her rugby-playing excellence as a member of the school's girls' rugby team.
Girls' rugby coach at KEQMS, John Liggett, is hoping Harriet will change her mind about playing football.
He said: "Harriet has an amazing side step, reminiscent of the great Welsh player, Gerald Davies, which completely wrong-foots the opposition.
"Girls' rugby is a fast-growing sport and I'm sure she could play at a very high standard if she wished."
