THE world's top golfers were being severely put to the test this week at the 137th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale.
Weather conditions - swirling wind and rain - have kept the scoring low at the event which began on Thursday and ends on Sunday.
Many top names have seen their chances blown and swept away in the tough conditions.
The forecast tomorrow is for stronger winds and light showers, with the winds decreasing on Sunday, but showers remaining.
