KIRKHAM & WESHAM FC's fans have backed the club's trip to Wembley in huge numbers, writes Howard Jones.
After a week in which the club clinched promotion to Vodkat Division One and won the Division Two Cup, Kirkham & Wesham are now gearing up to the FA Vase final against Lowestoft Town a week on Sunday.
And Wembley co-ordinator Chris Brown has urged fans without travel arrangements to book now.
Brown, who has masterminded the Wembley rush for tickets and travel arrangements, said: "We have already filled 21 coaches for the final.
"That's a fantastic response from the people in the town but we now only have a limited number of seats on our coaches left."
Fans who have yet to decide, or make their arrangements for the Wembley trip are urged to do so before this weekend.
Brown added: "We cannot guarantee that once the coaches we have are full then we will need to find other operators who maybe have to be found from outside the Fylde area.
"That is likely to push the seat prices up considerably and as such I would urge all fans wanting to go to the final to book with us now."
Supporters wishing to travel with the official Kirkham & Wesham coaches can do so now by calling in to the new Club Shop at 17, Poulton Street in Kirkham, or by phoning 07515997879.
The club also have a wide rage of souvenirs and memorabilia for the big day on sale in the Club Shop.
Kirkham travel to Stone Dominoes in the Potteries tonight (Thursday) for their penultimate league game of the season (7.45pm), before ending their first season in the North West Counties League at Leek CSOB on Saturday (3pm), when manager Mick Fuller is likely to play a side resembling that which he will start at Wembley a week on Sunday.
