IN PICTURES: Run Lytham

The Run Lytham 10k race formed a centrepiece of the St George’s Day Festival and produced some outstanding times.

The winner was Patrick Gardiner of East Cheshire Harriers in a time of 32mins, 15secs.

Stuart Robinson was second in 32.50 and Raobert Danson third in 34.03.

Neil Tate of Lytham St Annes Road Runners, who was the first male in the 30-39 age group in 41.34.

The winning lady was Tessa Walker in 37.32, while Blackpool Wyre and Fylde’s Caroline Betmead was third in 39.04.

Her clubmate Bev Wright was first female over-50 in 42.19.

Other winning veterans were:

Over-30: Rosaling Gehring (49.05); Over-40: Ryan Barker (37.16) and Karen Driver (44.51); Over-50: Paul Muller (36.29); Over-60: Colin Davies (46.38).
