Donkey rescued

FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a donkey stuck in water.
The animal was trapped in about one metre of water on Moss Side Lane, Wrea Green.
Firefighters, with slings and dry suits, used a water rescue pump during the incident, shortly before 8pm last night.
A fire service water rescue appliance attended from Preston.
