Have you got what it takes to tickle the town's funny bone?
If you think you're up to the challenge then it's time to contact stand-up comedian Dylan Fielding, who is on the lookout for budding comics to take part in an open mic night he is setting up in St Annes.
Dylan, who lives on Richmond Road, St Annes, said: "I've had a look around and I noticed that there wasn't much of a comedy scene around here, so I thought this would be something I should start up.
"It's not for profit or anything but it's just a laugh and hopefully we can make it a proper comedy night and get lots of people involved."
Dylan has performed at high profile comedy venues up and down the country as well as making a number of television appearances - starring in the 1999 hit Tina Goes Shopping as well as 2005 BBC drama Heatwave.
And he thinks the comedy night could act as a springboard for other local comics.
"Open mic nights are a great way of getting started in the business. Its where everyone starts - even the likes of Peter Kay."
Dylan is currently sounding out potential venues for the night and is hoping to have it up and running by December.
Anyone who is interested in taking part can contact Dylan on 07531 656 064.
