On a foggy cold late afternoon Fylde Mayor Coun Susan Fazackerley and the St Annes Carnival Queen Jenny Moore with her retinue brought warmth and light to St Annes Square as they switched on the Christmas lights.
The afternoon started earlier with Mayfield Primary School and then Clifton Primary School performing to the large crowd in the Square.
