ANOTHER St Annes youngster has been getting creative to fight the closure of the town's pool.
Robyne Whitehead, of St Andrews Road South, is campaigning to save the baths through a website she has created.

The 13-year-old, who is home schooled, made the site with the help of her father, Bill, and it urges people to contact their councillors to protest at the proposal.

She said: "I've been swimming there since I was two and I think we all need to swim, it's good for you.

"I go atleast once a week and if it closes it will be a bad thing.

"My dad and me looked at making a website. We thought if we made one for this people might look at it and think about it.

"We've had hundreds of hits since we set it going."

Other features on the site include contact details for councillors, ideas on what to say to them, details of the protest march and peoples' views.

There is also a list of shame for councillors who say they agree with the closure of the pools.

It comes after 12-year-old Daniel Iddon, of Glen Eldon Road, starting designing posters to fight the closure of the pool.
