BEER enthusiasts will be able to enjoy 50 real ales from across the world during a 20-day festival at a St Annes pub.
The beers on offer at The Trawl Boat Inn, Wood Street, have been sourced from brewers in New Zealand, Canada, Australia, Finland, USA, Holland, Belgium and Germany, as well as across the UK.

The festival will feature award-winning ales, speciality, seasonal and fruit beers, together with beers brewed exclusively for the pub.

It will run from Wednesday April 15 until Monday May 4 inclusive, with all beers priced at £1.59 a pint.

The overseas beers on sale are; Epic Pale Ale (New Zealand), Yukon Lead Dog Ale (Canada), Barons Bush Berry Porter (Australia), Sinebrychoff (Finland), Bend Brewing Blue Yonder (USA), Flying Dutchman Witbier (Holland), Palm Steenbrugge Blond (Belgium) and St Georgenbrau Keller Bier (Germany).

The UK beers will include; Raspberry Fool (Caledonian), Nosey Parker (Robinsons), Silver Adder (Mauldons), Cornish Mutiny (Wooden Hand), Sting in the Tail (Arundel), Hunny Trap (Skinners), Spin Doctor (Hydes), Cooper's Butt (Theakston) and Hopping Mad (J.W. Lees).

Customers will be able to sample any three of the real ales in special third-of-a-pint glasses for the price of a pint.

Pub manager Julie Rodgers said: "The festival will give people the opportunity to enjoy a superb selection of UK and international beers at The Trawl Boat Inn.

"The majority of the beers on offer have not been available in the pub beforehand and I am looking forward to serving them.

"The festival promises to be great fun and I am certain that my customers will enjoy themselves."

Tasting notes on all of the beers will be available in the pub.
